Archive of Stereoscopic Photographs of Berlin

Images of Berlin and surroundings as 8 x 18 cm stereo cards, c. 1855-1900 (mostly normal to well-preserved condition) and by Ernst Schlumberger as 6 x 13 cm stereo slides, c. 1928-1934. 1) Cased set of "Stereographs" with 51 cards from 1868-1884 by Stiehm and Sophus Williams. - 2) Cased set of "Berlin" with complete series of 1-34 of stereo cards, 9 x 18 cm, without names, c. 1900, well-preserved. - 3) S.P. Christmann, 33 cards, 1865 onwards. - 4) C. Eckenrath 32 cards, 1855 onwards. - 5) Celebrations, 16 June 1871: 9 cards by Christmann, Moser senior and Senteck. - 6) 13 cards by Gustav Liersch, H. Boll, P. Hermann and 36 unnamed maps. - 7) 14 boxes of 106 framed Schlumberger slides, 6 x 13 cm, good image quality, with typed location captions on the front, most with the year and image number on the back, very well-preserved. - 8) Two wood boxes of the Schlumberger slide archive 1928-1934, with approx. 500 labeled slides, Berlin and southern Germany, several toned, including the meeting of a stereo club with viewer and a photograph of Schlumberger’s mother on the occasion of her 75th birthday. - 9) Max Wendt, Olympia-Raumbild-Album, 1936, 160 pages, with 76 anaglyph images and unmarked viewer, cover worn, dust sheet missing, quotes: "… enjoy the beautiful buildings, amenities and the distant views that now unfold before you like a 'Kaiserpanorama'". Page 156: "The majority of the images for the stereo images were taken by Mr Ernst Schlumberger, who was awarded the championship medal in 1935 in the competition organized jointly by the Association of German Amateur Photographers’ Associations and the German Society for Stereoscopy." - Note: Ernst Schlumberger (* 2. 11. 1856 in Augsburg, + 23. 7. 1920 in Göggingen).

布雷克拍品等级是为了方便竞买人判断拍卖品的成色而设置的。布雷克等级用1到6级来标注外观和功能的成色，(从非常好到非常差)。 在目录图册里用括号里的2个数字来表示，前一个数字表示外观成色的级别，后一个数字表示功能成色的级别。如(3/2)表示外观成色是3(满意的)，功能成色2(好)。 成色 定义参照下列标准： 1 - 非常好 (未使用过，没有使用痕迹) 2 - 好 (新，极少的使用痕迹) 3 - 满意的 (普通的使用痕迹) 4 - 及格的 (明显的使用痕迹，某个非主要部件是后配的) 5 - 有缺陷的 (极明显的使用痕迹, 某个主要部件是后配的，功能上有缺陷，需要修理) 6 - 非常差 (严重破损, 缺少重要部件)
