1) Ernst Plank, Nuremberg. Blue tin lamp housing with chimney, original for an E27 incandescent bulb (electrical functions not tested). 2 interchangeable front panels: One for 35mm continuous animation via a Maltese cross switch, and a sliding unit for 50mm wide glass strips. Includes animation 35mm film and 12 well-preserved strips of fairy tales: "Little Muck," "Little Longnose", and "Caliph Stork." All in the original wooden box, including various documentation for the device. – In addition: 3 original boxes of "E.P. Cinematograph" films, each containing three colored continuous films. – And: 2) Probably German. Blue sheet metal housing, 27.5 cm high including film holder, unusual stepping mechanism (see image, approx. 8 frames per second possible if the device is held steady), also for 30mm wide glass strips, lamp housing with working kerosene lamp. – In addition: 2 film strips. – The Lilliput of early cinematographs! – Sophisticated optical toys from the early decades of the 20th century.
