Bass end of cylinder inscribed (indistinctly) 65181, G 164 and 75, cylinder stamped "U", playing six airs, including "Tannhäuser" overture by Wagner and other titles by Verdi, Strauß and Abt, with 145 teeth in comb (complete), mandolin teeth in groups of up to eight, tune-sheet, grained case with original finish and rosewood-veneered lid with inlaid motif of carafe, swallow and billet-doux, width 25 in. (64 cm), cylinder 15 in. (38 cm), bass board split, three near-invisibly replaced bass teeth, a couple of dampers in need of adjustment, movement in otherwise excellent restored playing condition.
