France. 1) Umbrella as darkroom tent, for use while changing plates or for development, with two sleeves for the arms and a cover for the head, light-tight black cloth with red section for darkroom illumination and red lining, mechanism working, some rust. An ingenious design, portable and foldable. – 2) Gaumont, Paris. 4,5 x 6 cm negative precise enlarger no. 1913, height 72.5 cm, with flap on the top, for 13 x 18 cm, for standard double-cassettes 13 x 18 cm. – 3) Unmarked, 4,5 x 6 cm folding enlarger for 13 x 18 cm papers, brass tube with lens and negative carrier removable via a bayonet, and can be stowed inside the enlarger for transport, height 33.5 cm. Well-designed and of good quality. – And: 4) Unmarked, 4,5 x 6 cm, for paper sizes up to 24 x 24 cm, with lens-opener outside and transport grip, height 35 cm. – The longer an older enlarger with fixed enlargement ratio with periscopic lenses is, the more precise will be the quality of enlargement in the small negative format – In addition: Part of a daylight developing camera for postcards (function unclear) and a darkroom lamp for early bulbs with 3 movable glass screens of 34 x 23,5 cm in matt-white, original ruby and brown glass. – All in all scarce darkroom equipment and good exhibition pieces.
