André Debrie, Paris. Soundproofed studio camera for 35mm film in two 300m cassettes (included). Driven by a built-in Debrie synchronous motor for 24 fps, 380 volts. High-voltage switch and plug on the camera. Lens: Cooke 1:2/50 mm. Viewfinder system: Rotating reflex mirror on the rotating sector. The focusing screen image can be viewed via the telescope magnifier on the back of the camera. Inside the camera is a stepping mechanism with two pull-and-lock claws. Sector shutter adjustable even while running. The camera sits on a hydraulic oil pump tripod by Debrie (hydraulics intact). The pan-tilt head is connected to the studio camera via a snap-on wedge. Camera and tripod bear the intact Debrie Paris "eagle" logo. – Electrical functioins untested. – In addition: A large leather bellows compendium, aluminum case with 3 original cassettes. The increased use of color film from 1950 onwards necessitated the André Debrie company to develop a single-lens reflex camera, which was marketed under the name "Super Parvo Color." A new, larger body with improved sound insulation also took into account the now higher sensitivities of studio microphones. All major European film companies worked with Super Parvo Color cameras until around 1970, including CCC Film Berlin, Bavaria Film Munich, Studio Hamburg, Wien Film, and the DEFA Feature Film Studio Babelsberg. Many successful productions, such as the "Sissi" trilogy with Romy Schneider or "The Captain from K?penick" with Heinz Rühmann, were filmed with Super Parvo Color cameras. This camera type has a significant history in film.
