At the desired time, the bell rings, the lid opens, the bird rises, turns from side to side, sings, flaps its wings and flutters its tail before descending into the box as the lid closes once more. – Marguerat's singing bird alarm clock combines mechanical ingenuity with fine enamel work and a striking Art-Deco design – a superb exhibition piece. – Literature: Geoffrey T.
