Rare Autophone Co. "Grand Roller Organ", c. 1906
For 13 ¼ in. (34 cm) spirally-pinned wooden cylinders, with 32-note action, crank and oak case, width 23 ½ in. (64 cm), with seven old and six new cylinders including overtures to "Caliph of Bagdad" and "Orpheus in the Underworld". Titles are as follows:
New: No. 4029 "Orpheus Overture, Can-Can", No. 4024 "Toreador Song and March", No. 2075 "Coronation March", No. 2054 "Overture Caliph of Bagdad", No. 3016 "Portugese Hymn", No. 3017 "Antioch". The titles on the old cobs are unclear as some of the labels are partially or completely missing. The numbers and titles on incomplete / missing labels are identified only by the seller. They are as follows: Old: No. 20 (?) 18 "Magic Flute", no label "Viennese Waltz", no label No. 2016 "After the Ball", no label No. 2086 "Sidewalks of N.Y." and "I Love the Girl I Left", No. 2022 "Gypsy Song" and "Anvil Chorus", No. 2088 "Poet and Peasant", No. 21(?)40 "Patriotic Medley". – The largest roller organ in the Autophone line. Movement and case in superb restored condition. Plays extremely well!
